Accent Canadian. Passport Irish. Definitely bonkers!
I'm hell-bent on creating sustainable and profitable results for small medium firms in creative and wonderfully human ways.
I have been working with, and in, Growth for about 100 years now (I jest, but it's not too far off). I first put my hand to business growth aged 13 in an attempt to save dad's business.
With nearly 10 years working with, and for, big brands including Coca-Cola, Proctor & Gamble, Mars, British American Tobacco, British Gas, and Boots Opticians, the call to get off the train and resolve how to facilitate sustainable and profitable growth for SMEs was palpable.
What it takes to facilitate results for a Small Medium business is literally planets away from what is involved in generating results for a big business.
Let's call that chapter of the story; Failing my way to success.
With nearly 5 years of applied study, practice and refinement, I finally stepped into the space of *alright*.
Another 7 years later and my 4 S.T.E.P. Method, and Momentum Continuum is consistently delivering the kind of results that makes me swoon and my clients continue to refer me.
We can call the next chapter; Funny what happens when one is persistent? Heh!
Results include things like; Funds Ireland Mini Con - an industry event that I designed, architected produced and executed inside 6 weeks (with only a few slip ups)! My intention was to transform how dull and dry content is consumed.
I reckon we deserve to be entertained regardless of the content. I also believe the word 'sponsor' should be banished - paying partners deserve to get real value and a commercial return worthy of their investment.
Another result we still smile about today is when one of our clients asked us to turn the campaign off 3hours post launch as the response was far greater than they could cope with.
Another? That was a major UK distributor who went from, archaic to industry leading, inside 12-months. After one of our workshops wrapped up in April, the CEO extended his hand and suggested those 3hours were the most productive 3hrs of his year. Not bad.
Getting here looks on par with a 6 year old child's scribble on a sugar rush!
And that journey has made all the difference. Mastery is accessed inside the friction, set backs and wipe outs.
I appreciate Samuel Beckett's Try Again, Fail Again, Fail Better. It is yet another way to articulate the process of growth and the epitome of how I work; iterate, iterate, iterate.
Perfection from step 1 has zero place at TABTF. I absolutely insist on perfectly imperfect.
I have lived, studied and worked in Moscow, Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, North Africa, UK, Canada and now I am enjoying standing still in Dublin Ireland with mum up the road, and the rest of the family down the road.
